The Education Marketing Company was not conceived in a conference room. It grew out of thirteen years of being inside the admission office, on the school counselor circuit, across campuses in Bengaluru, Bhopal, Delhi, and beyond. It grew out of late nights writing books that no one had written yet. And it grew out of the belief that Indian education deserves marketing that matches its ambition.
Dr. Ashish Gupta has spent his career at the front lines of enrollment: doubling intake at Jagran Lakecity University, building international pipelines at RV University, founding IAP and APCI as professional bodies for the admissions community. He has seen what works, and more importantly, what does not.
Dr. Divya Gupta has spent hers building the language institutions use to talk about themselves. As a two-time National Award winner, TEDx speaker, and published author, she knows that brand is not a logo or a tagline. It is the accumulated trust that an institution earns through every interaction, every story, every piece of communication it puts into the world.
"We started this company because we kept seeing the same gap: institutions with genuine excellence but no coherent way to tell the world about it, or enroll students into it."
Together, they bring a rare combination to every engagement: hard-won enrollment experience and sophisticated communications strategy, working in concert rather than in parallel.
